Slovenia rounds out the top 10 in terms of average hours worked among the population of OECD member states, possibly as a result of the fact that Slovenians do three hours and 51 minutes of unpaid work each day, 24 minutes more than the OECD average. The videos, released by U.S. intelligence officials Saturday, were offered as further proof that Navy SEALs killed the world's most wanted terrorist this week. But they also served to show bin Laden as vain, someone obsessed with his portrayal by the world's media.
One of the movies shows bin Laden, his unkempt beard streaked in gray, sitting on the floor, wrapped in a brown blanket and holding a remote control. He flipped back and forth between what appears to be live news coverage of himself. The old, small television was perched on top of a desk with a large tangle of electrical wires running to a nearby control box.
In another, he has apparently dyed and neatly trimmed his beard for the filming of a propaganda video. The video, which the U.S. released without sound, was titled ""Message to the American People" and was believed to be filed sometime last fall, a senior intelligence official said during a briefing for reporters, on condition that his name not be used.
The videos were seized from bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Officials said the clips shown to reporters were just part of the largest collection of senior terrorist materials ever collected. The evidence seized during the raid also includes phone numbers and documents that officials hope will help break the back of the organization behind the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Intelligence officials have known that bin Laden and al-Qaida monitored the news. But for years, when it was assumed that he was living in Pakistan's rugged, mountainous tribal region, some believed he might not be able to get real-time news.
After the CIA discovered bin Laden's suburban compound, they realized that a satellite dish provided a television feed to bin Laden's compound. The video also reveals that bin Laden had a computer in his home, though officials say there were no Internet or phone lines running from the house.
Bin Laden and four others were killed in a daring pre-dawn raid Monday after U.S. helicopters lowered a team of SEALs behind the compound's high walls. The terrorist leader's death leaves al-Qaida with an uncertain future and represents America's most successful counterterrorism mission.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and yet still many seem to skip it. Many cereals found in the supermarket are full of sugar and salt, which means buying organic is often the only way forward. A better idea of course is to invest in a few wholesome ingredients and make your own!
This simple recipe for granola is a great option for those who wish to up their omega 3 levels and once made it will last you up to a month.
Ingredients are as follows:

3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup unsalted, sliced, almonds
1 cup green, unsalted pumpkin seeds
3 tablespoons flax seeds
1/2 cup chopped unsalted walnuts

1 cup toasted wheat germ
1/4 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1/2-teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4-teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2-cup maple syrup
1/2-teaspoon pure vanilla essence
1-cup raisins (optional)
Salt to taste, a pinch or up to 1/4 teaspoon

Health and Medical

All of the above ingredients are available from your local health food store; you can even add a few of your own ingredients to the mix if you wish.

Once you have sourced all the ingredients you will need to preheat the oven to 325° F. Mix the oats, pumpkin seeds, nuts, wheat germ and seeds in a large bowl, then toss together. The next step requires you to add the raisins; if you are not a fan of raisins you could substitute this ingredient for another preferred dried fruit, such as cranberries or dates. Each substitute is equally as health beneficial and both are just as tasty! Add salt, cinnamon and nutmeg then stir the mixture together in order to combine all of the ingredients. Add the syrup and vanilla to create a thick texture and then fold the mixture until all of the ingredients have received an equal coating of the syrup and vanilla combination.
The next stage requires you to coat the mixture onto two large baking trays lined with parchment paper, as this will mean there will be no chance of the mixture sticking to the tray.
The final stage requires you to bake the mixture until golden brown, you should however stir the granola halfway through and switch racks for best results. After about 40 minutes cool completely by leaving the tray on the rack.
Once you have completed this procedure you can store the homemade granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one month. The homemade granola tastes great served with either milk or natural yogurt and the best bit, it’s all natural!

Report shows US government doctors previously conducted medical experiments on the disabled and prison inmates.
Experiments included giving hepatitis to mental patients, spraying pandemic flu up the noses of Maryland inmates, and injecting cancer cells into chronically ill patients at a New York hospital. In many cases, the studies involved making healthy people sick.
The events took place over 40 to 80 year ago, but are serving as a backdrop to a meeting of the presidential bioethics commission in Washington.
A review of past medical journals by the AP revealed at least 40 studies in which human experimentation was used. In some cases, the search was for medical treatments, in others, curiosity and experimental satisfaction.
The report by AP explained the studies violated the concept of "first do no harm," a basic medical principle that has often been the rule.
"When you give somebody a disease — even by the standards of their time — you really cross the key ethical norm of the profession," Arthur Caplan, director of the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Bioethics, told AP.
The studies were largely ignored by the masses, if made public, and those which received attention were often addressed by the media as necessary means to greater medical discovery.
Government officials have acknowledged there were dozens of such experiments across the US.
